Should I hold off on the proposal?

While I was away on a business trip, my girlfriend (who was a virgin at the time) was raped. She had to get stitches, her face was badly bruised, she had cuts all over her body. I feel so bad for him. Even worse because I wasn't there when she needed me. This happened about a month ago. She's doing a lot better now. She's gone back to work, goes out all the time, and is her regular haply self. Our sex life is just like it was before. So anyway, I've been saving up for almost 4 months now and I have enough money for the engagement ring I wanted to buy her. (We've been dating for over 2 years.) But do you think I should wait a little longer because of what happened? We are due to go to Florida next week on vacation and I was planning on proposing to her on the beach. (Our 3 year dating anniversary is also next week.)She seems ready but I don't wanna pressure. At the same time, I've been wanting to propose for four months now and I don't know a better way to do it without her getting a little suspicious. All advice would be appreciated.
