Need Help ASAP Please Read Puppy Involved!!!?

Ok so on Tuesday,June 28, 2011 one day after adopting my German Shepherd Dog puppy she somehow got her stitches wet from her spaying, and they were the dissolving kind. Well her guts and all that came out. No lie! Everything came out!! We rushed her to the vet, and they fixed her up, and she's been using the bathroom without struggling. Her poop and pee color is normal. But my puppy Riley can't hold down her food. She eats it then throws it up. There is NO blood in the vomit. It's just her food and mucus. She can hold down water though. I am very worried about my newly adopted little girl. We're calling the vet tomorrow, but I was wondering what can cause her to only vomit her food and mucus!? Any suggestions so I can ask my vet!? I am literally about to cry because I have only had her for almost two days, and she's so special to me!! Like said we're calling our vet first thing tomorrow morning!!

Infection from irremovable sutures.?

My wife had hand surgery 11 days ago. I was removing the stitches, accidentally cut the knot off of one and now can't remove it. These sutures are stitched under the incision in an oval shape with the opposite end of the knot under the skin. Once the knot is removed then there is no way to retrieve the suture unless she has it cut out. Will leaving this suture in cause any problems? They are not the kind that dissolve.

Severe foot/ankle pain?

Back in April, I had an accident where I sliced open the top of my foot. I got stitches, and everything seemed okay. Within a few days of getting the stitches, the wound got infected with staph and it turned into cellulitis. Since then, I have been hospitalized twice for this and given antibiotics so often I'm likely immune to them all by now. The infection has cleared up, but here's the problem. Once the swelling goes down, it only stays that way for a week or so. I'm able to work without pain (I'm a chef) and things are great. Out of the blue, my ankle will begin to swell up on its own, with no new injury other than being on my feet at work. The doctors have done x-rays, MRI's, sonograms, and a few other things to determine what is wrong, but all tell me it is just in my head. I find this unnacceptable since my ankle looks like a grapefruit and is nearly impossible to walk on when it swells up. I should note that I do have flat feet, and have never really had much trouble with them until recently. Ever since April when the initial accident occurred, my ankle has had a mind of its own, swelling up and running its course for a week or more before I'm able to stand/walk pain-free. I have tried looking up different things to try pinpointing a cause but come up short. Any help with this would be great since it is really starting to get on my nerves.

Tips for beginning applique' with sewing machine?

I want to learn to applique' with the satin stitch function on my sewing machine. I have several questions. I'm using cotton and I plan to fuse shaped fabrics with Heat n Bond lite or Wonder Under. Why do I have a bad headache after day surgery?

Yesterday, I had a G-tube (entristar feeding tube button in my stomach) removed. They put a lot of freezing in the area around the button and after they took it out I felt really dizzy and faint. They put some stitches in to hold the hole together since I have had it for 13 years. Now, I blame the dizzy faint feeling on my body absorbing some of the freezing. But, that night, and the next day (which is today) I have had a headache in the front part of my head. Do you think that could have something to do with the freezing? Or something else from the day surgery? Or perhaps it isn't related at all?

How are people from India able to wear such thin clothing without freezing to death?

I'm speaking about those in America or other really cold places in the Winter. It's been in the low 20s and sometimes the teens here for weeks with snow, and I still see them walking around in very thin clothing and FLIP FLOPS! Now I know it's their native garb and all, but when the going gets tough or cold, sometimes you gotta do things to protect your body against the elements like putting boots and a Winter coat on just to be warm. I know that they have to get cold just like everybody else. They're not super humans. How are they able to do it?

I'm knitting a cat hat with holes for the ears. The pattern is asking to stitch 3 then cast off 10. The videos i've seen on youtube show how to cast off after two stitches instead of three. So do I still just cast off over the second or first stitch?

A belly button heals after 6 months but it doesn't hurt that much during the healing process. You will be able to walk normal and do everything normally probably about 3 days after. If you aren't taking it out or changing it it should be fine.

I have acquired a whole bunch of these transparent, plastic, flexible, bookmark sized things with various anime, vocaloid, etc. characters printed on them. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what I could do with them, I highly doubt they have a specific purpose. They are transparent and have a glossy side to them so they look a lot better on white than anything else. Aside from using them as bookmarks or simply taping them to a paper and sticking it in my binder (which is what I plan on doing if I don't get any good ideas), what could I do with them? :) Any help would be greatly appreciated. no it will not hurt you. the skin will just grow over it. i've gotten stitches 6 times about 10-15 stitches every time an they left a stitch almost every time. like i said the skin will just grow over it an it won't hurt a thing.

so i got a skin graft done last week because the tissue connecting your gums and your top lip together was causing a gap in between my teeth and i just got my braces off so that had to be done. anways i was with my friend today i felt this pain in my gum and i look in the mirror i had seen the stitch knot had moved a little and where it was before there is like idk how u say it like a gap or a little dip? idk but theres that. Should I be mad at my sister?! We were at the local pool?

I'm 13 and I don't really consider her my sister because she is only my half sister because we have the mom. But she's 19 and she took all the kids to the pool so it was her and 9kids. And when we got there we changed into bathing suits and I jumped off the high dive. After that I was bending over waiting for my little sister to jump off the low dive. And my older sister put her hand right below my butt and pushed me in! Cut and the hospital? Purpose and accident ?

Does it take longer for a person who's cut themselves (on purpose but doesn't lose a lot of blood) to deep to get out of the hospital (because suicidal reasons)? Rather than a person who let's say fell and cut his leg (by accident but doesn't lose a lot of blood) and they both need stitches. Would it take the person who did it on purpose to get out longer. I've been in this situation before (first one) but yea I've never been cut by mistake. So I'm wondering if it would take longer for a person who did it on purpose or one that was an accident? Sedation is fine u will have someone monitoring u at all times. U will also be hooked up to a machine to monitor ur vitals just like at doctors. Blood pressure cuff on arm the little thing on ur finger they will monitor your heart. They put meds through an IV and tell u to count down from 10 u will fall asleep looking at them watching u. After that they do there thing pulling ur teeth. If ur oxygen goes low they just crank up the oxygen on the machine because u will be on oxygen. U wont remember anything u wont wake up until they wake u up. When u wake up u will be extremely tired wondering what the hell happened. But its really not that bad. Trust me. You can ask the anesthesiologist all these questions hos job is to make u comfortable answering your questions as well as sedate you. Oh and when I had my teeth pulled and they sedated me I felt really jot and my chest got kind of tight and I felt like ants were biting me. I started to panic and they could see that they asked me what was wrong and I told them and they assured me it was ok and gave me some more meds and the symptoms went away. I hope this eases ur mind on it. And good luck.

Do I have OCD and is there something wrong with me?

I have been thinking that i have had OCD for quite a while. For a few years now I have noticed some symptoms that may be associated with OCD. In particular in the last year I received a mac book from my school. On the mac book when pressing the command key and the space bar it opens a quick spotlight option. Once I found out I could do this without affecting what I was working on I started tapping it, obsessively. I tapped the space bar while holding both command keys next to it. When I was typing in school or at home I would tap it after finishing a sentence or paragraph. It just became this thing that I did. I really don't know how to describe it, it sounds silly when typing this. This didn't hinder my work in anyway but it made a loud noise that nobody mentioned at home, I pressed the space bar hard and tapped it many many times trying to make it feel right but it never really did. This was accompanied by pressing hard and swiping my hand across the clicker looking for the same feeling. I also would type, delete, and re-type letters, especially 'e' and I think 'c', I think the girl who sat next to me in computer class noticed after I did it about 10 times. I would also highlight and re-highlight the words on a web page (in the past sentence I just typed, deleted and re-typed the letter 'd' and 'c'). I would also tap other key combinations such as the command+tab shortcut which switches applications. I noticed that my symptoms were directly related with how emotional I was or how much stress I am under. Since the summer started I haven't shown many of the symptoms mentioned above, partly because of the stress-free environment of summer and mostly (I think) because I don't have the mac book any more. This was all in the past year (my first year of high-school). Before this I would visualize lining up telephone poles that I saw through the windows of our car and in restaurants. My mother noticed that I would move around in my seat lining things up outside from my perspective. I also played a game in the car where I would line up the tops of the telephone poles (with the antenna-like tops with the wires) with the blue visor at the top of our windshield (this is hard to explain also). I've always suspected this was a game though. I don't do either of these things anymore. Nowadays I will roam around the house tapping the walls and tabletops and assorted bed stands that I walk by. Sometimes I with tap the first digits of my fingers (on the inside) with some force on the top of a table or a wall. When I get medicine out of the medicine cabinet I will repeatedly touch the door and close it because it doesn't close all the way and this bothers me. I also collect useless junk. I have pieces of paper and lint that I don't want to throw away for some reason. I just collect this stuff. When the top cloth layer of the inside sole of my right shoe came out my mother wanted to throw it away but I insisted that I keep it. This also includes the clippings of my jeans that were tearing off at the bottom. Luckily I have thrown both of these pathetic items away. During the summer after 8th grade I decided to go through and throw out all of my papers from that year. Most kids say they are ready to burn their binders but I wanted to horde mine and all of the papers inside. I wanted to keep all of those papers with my A+'s on them. I thought that one day I would need them to show to someone how smart I am. I ended up throwing them away. We kept them in a brown bag that was ready to be thrown out. My mother said she would throw them away in the morning. I had a mini-panic attack that evening and I think I convinced my mother to keep them for a month or two. They're gone now. I don't know if the rest of this is related or not but here it goes; When making a decision I can usually say yes or no. But like this one time my sister and her two friends were going out with my mother and they asked me whether I wanted to come along. I initially refused but then I sat in my chair for a bit while they went out to the car. I racked my brain trying to make a decision whether I wanted to go or not. I was and still am convinced that I need to be impulsive and take those seemingly minor decisions like going with my sister and her friends. I grabbed my shoes and socks and ran out the door before they left with a quick, "I'm going too!" to my dad. I ran to the car barefoot as they were about to pull away. I just had my son on june 1st. I had an episiotomy and it was soo painful the 1st wk but hurt less by the 2nd wk. By the middle of the 3rd wk It started to hurt again. I'm somewhat thing It could have been an inside job (considering the door was LEFT open) and robbers ALL started smashing the right sight of the store where the diamond rings were located and NOT touching the left side where the less expensive items were. Now, If one were to be on the outside looking into the store it is clearly obvious that the steel barred doors required someone to let them in, meaning there is NO WAY ANYONE would attempt to do what they did unless they KNEW the door would be open. It's one of the jail sell barred iron doors that cannot be pried open. So, either it was planned or they were just negligent. Are they responsible for my emotional stress and items stolen?? OCD with my clothes??? helpp!?

I really feel like i have ocd with my clothing and the clothing that i buy. Whenever i go shopping and buy a clothing item i have to make sure that the stitching and seams are all even and that everything about it feels even when i wear it. when i put on pants i have to make sure that one pant leg is not tighter or loser than the other and same with shorts and jeans. and with shirts if one sleeve is tighter than the other . I just have to make sure everything about the item is made evenly . In the stores i try on the more than one of the same item of the same size just to see which one feels the most even. if i buy something and found out it feels uneven to me when i go home i wont stop thinking about it and i will keep trying it on and will literaly keep thinking about it everytime i wear it of how uneven it feels. When i own clothing that feels uneven to me i will get soooo fustrated about it and will be so upset. I willl keep thinking about it days on end and sometimes i will just keep the clothing in the shopping bags bc i dont even want to wear it bc of how fustrated i am with how uneven it feels. Question about my injured arm?

I hurt my elbow in a skateboarding accident a couple of hours ago. the bleedings stopped and the scrape was pretty deep but it dont look like it needs stitches. First turn the shirt backwards. with a plastic needle or the end of the scissors, loosen the thread by inserting the needle through the yarns (make sense right), then just move youur wrist up and down. when there is enough loose thread just insert the end of the scissor(if you used a needle) and just cut!:) just repeat this through the symbol and itll be done. it wont take that long by the way. just about 15 min.

Are stitches supposed to bleed?

Yes. I would say that you would probably still have some bleeding from where they removed the tissue. It will probably bleed and maybe even ooze a little for 1-3 days. If there is any pus or any inflammation, I would call your doctor immediately because you probably have an infection. Otherwise, you will heal in about a week or so depending on the size of the incision. Also, don't mess with the stitches too much and don't keep taking the bandage off to look at it every few minutes because that increases your risk for infection. Just change the bandage as directed (usually every day and observe changes at that point). I hope you heal up soon! All the best!

Is redness around stitches normal?

I had a mole removed 6 days ago and see redness at the incision site. The redness seems to have been there since I got the stitches. I have not seen an increase in redness, but I have never had stitches and am not sure if typical redness is cause for concern or not. I also am the epitome of fair skin and respond very sensitively to skin trauma. Simply scratching my skin can leave a red streak, so it's hard to tell if it's just from the stitches healing or if it's something to question. Thank you.

Trailer hitch shin injury now wound that won't heal over, suggestions?

Afterbirth pains or something more?

What Should I Do With My Ex Boyfriends' Gifts?

So I came across this huge box which is filled with jewelry, letters, teddy bears/stuffed animals, pictures, and other assorted mementos from the dates that I went on when I was with them. I have decided to keep the jewelry since each piece has diamonds in it and I am not throwing away diamonds. The letters, pictures, and mementos from the dates have been made into a memory binder. I did this in part to keep the memories and also to show my future children that just because a boyfriend seems sweet and showers you with gifts does not mean that they aren't overly clingy and/or controlling (because that was exactly what my exes were). However, I have a ton of stuffed animals from my exes and I don't know what to do with them, there are so many of them and some of them are big. I was thinking of just keeping them in a box and storing them in the basement, I just don't have the heart to throw them out, they are my memories, and also in the future I can give them to my kids to play with so that they don't go to waste as clutter. Punch biopsy scarring?

I had a punch biopsy on side of neck to removed pea size cyst. I have had the stitches out for over a month. There is a significant sunken spot where the punch biopsy was taken and two dog ears on either end of the stitches scar. Is this typical for a month of healing? Will the sunken area fill in? Will the dog ears flatten? I am so worried because it looks really terrible when I turn my neck, as there is a big gap where tissue should be. Thanks

I had a mole removed and the doctor is not back from vacation until the morning of the 12-day mark. However, it is on my chest and I keep reading everywhere that leaving them in too long can cause "track" scarring. Am I over-worrying and maybe the extra 1.5 day won't be a huge deal? Head Trauma as a kid, or just my anxiety?

Hey, my name's Jake and I'm 16 years old. I've always head extreme anxiety, in elementary school I'd always have bad temper and yell at the whole class. Now at 16, I still don't feel right and it's too the point to where I am going crazy. Everyday I'm on a long search on the internet to find what's going on in my head and what can help. When I think back to when I was very little, around 5 or 6, I always remember the time that a very large rock was dropped on my head. I didn't get knocked out but it was very serious and had stitches and stayed in the hospital for a while. And now I think that is the reason. Here is what is going on in my head... I think too much of what other people think of me. Or just think to hard in general. I always feel like things are awkward, when they're not. Example: riding around in my friends car, I role my window down, I think he thinks I'm weird for having my window down, or he doesn't want it down. Even though he probably doesn't even notice my window is down or even cares. My thoughts often feel "cloudy" and I get off track easily. I feel like this issue is holding me back from doing some fun things and having a great life. I used to be a real good student, but now my grades are dropping extremely. I often find myself looking in the mirror, it's like I have to. I don't know why, but I think it's me trying to find who I am. It's like I have no personality. When I see people, on the street, in school, I try to see my self as that person, I do this as a way to really see how un normal I am. I also always think myself as another person, and if I saw myself so I get a point of view of what I look like and act. I am way overly conscious of my looks. When ever I learn about a new disease, or disorder, I focus all my energy on that and I think I have it. I once convinced myself I was mentally retarded. I just wish I could be somewhat normal in the inside as everyone else. I know you're suppose to accept who you are, but I think this is something that needs to be dealt with. I have made some very good healthy choices by trying to eat right, working out, and even joined my school's football team in hope that I can be mentally healthy. It's helped a little, but this is driving me crazy and can't see myself living like this for more than another year. I have an appointment in about a month with the therapist. My dogs got into a fight, and one got a puncture wound, what do I do?

First off, it needs to go to the vet. It's unfortunate that her mom is refusing medical help because the deep wound can get infected. My dogs got into a very serious fight once when one of my females was in an aggressive heat cycle. One of my dogs had a puncture wound, and we took her to the vet. They gave her antibiotics to prevent an infection, and we went to the store to get gauze to wrap her leg. After maybe a week, she was healing and walking just fine. Good luck with your dogs! :)

Feeling angry still after being told told to wait while i was in labour, how do i move past this?

SORRY THIS IS GONNA BE LONG.....I went into labour with my second child and being experienced I did most of the labour at home, when my contractions were less than 5 apart i called the hospital to let them know I was on my way. to which they replied we are too busy, its not safe for you to come here now there is no one to look after you??? I pleaded with them and they insisted that if i came in no one could look after me as it was too busy already, they told me to take a shower and have some panadol, even though i said i had done all those things and my waters had broke almost 24 hours ago, they said stay at home, desperate i hung up the phone and travelled to the hopspital where i spoke through an intercom and said i was in labour and in severe pain, they told me to take a seat and wait? no one come out to me and after 20minutes I became really frightened i was going to have the baby out in the corridor? I was even vomitting on the floor as i had no where else too, in the hospital corridor.... so humiliating. My husband buzzed numerous times to try and get someone and they just kept saying she has to wait? finally about 40 after id arrived someone came out and to my dismay called in another lady who was not in Labour!!!! thankfully she knew my desparation and signalled for me to go in, instead of her. when I got into the room I told them I was not "sarah" ...they stilled seemed mad and at this point i thought they were going to kick me out again. the nurse said oh i will go get a midwife....and by the time she came back had all my clothes off pleading with her to let me push, as i felt i needed to but was scared also that maybe i shouldnt yet. without her even examining me, she said yes just push and My beautifull son was born shortly after a few pushes. He was born "flat" and needed a little help to breathe but was fine after 5 minutes. I dread to think what would have happened if i stayed at home like they said or didnt sneak in under someone elses identity. 2 days after my birth I also discovered a tear that they had missed and i needed to be stiched up 2 DAYS later, no one had checked me, I also dread to think what would have happened if i didnt notice things werent right down there. Oh and when I did go to get stitched up they didnt use and any local anaestetic and it Hurt like hell while they stitched. There were a few other things that also went wrong but I cant go on forever?? My baby is nearly 3 months and this whole thing still plays on my mind and upsets me. I know i am lucky because my son is fine and so am I but I wrote a letter of compaint to the hospital, but of coarse they dont care and never got back to me. Has this happened to anyone else, if so How did you move on from it. I dont want it to happen to anyone else, how can i get the hospital to prevent this agian!!!

Its like a drug or any other addiction; when times are difficult, such as when money is tight, buying new toys makes you feel better and lets you forget - for a little while - about your probems. Of course, when the bills come, it just makes your problems worse.

Muslim woman in my neighborhood go around in full body coverings while their husbands wear jogging suits and modern garb. Do these men have small tools? Are they afraid a real man would better please his wife?

...sell it. I have tried to get past it but I can't help mysels. I can't see any point on it other than pride or vanity. Its not like real art, scupture, music, poem, painting, or archectecture, it dosent convay drama or feeling like these do, and it seems to exist so the person wearing it can enjoy the flattery of others who wear it and are impressed. Is this a malfunction? Am I missing the point of expensive jewelry? It seems to be an insignifiicant way to use significant money. I just can't trust people who do that. I guess I think theyre selfish snobs deep down. Is it only me? Its like gangs who wear some identifyng garb, and in this case is a snob gand and jewels are what identify them to each other. Please, be brutally honest, its about a girl called ashley who was kidnapped by a gangster and trained to be able to preform surgery on people. She is 18 and she goes to night clubs and tranquilizes people so that she can steal one of their kidneys, before stitching them up and disappearing. She sells them on the black market and one night she gets caught and has to cut all her hair off and get a new identity. Once she has changed, she falls in love with a really fit emo at a nightclub and tells him everything. He doesn't take her seriously and she is upset. Upon the gangster finding out about him knowing about her secret, he shoots the emo guy (who is called Seth) and shoots him so she is forced to give him a kidney transplant. Then he survives, the gangster gets killed and the emos live together and have sex etc. what do u think and thanks a million in advance :) be honest, it wont hurt my feelings if u think its crap

Im just gonna throw an idea out to you. Your body might not be releasing enough melatonin (the hormone that is released to make you feel sleepy). You can buy it in tablets form at your local walgreens,cvs, kroger, etc. Take one pill about 30mins-1hour before bed. This might help. Good Luck!

I don't know if others just "Zone out" and think of nothing which is a feeling of serenity. I guess there are more sad daydreams than good ones. FtM: Best binder for someone whos big and tall?

I'm 42D myself, and my favorite for binding is the Frog Bra, but I'm not sure it's being manufactured any more, unfortunately. Underworks makes a tri-top binder that's not too bad. It binds well, but it doesn't breathe as well as the Frog Bra, it isn't as soft, and it isn't stretchy at all, so it's much more difficult to pull on. The X-large was a tad loose on me (because my chest is actually 41"), so the large might be just a tad loose on you as well, but the medium might be too difficult for you to get on.

So my boyfriend is 20 and I am 18 we have been together for a year but lately it seems like all he wants to do is garb on me touch me try to have sex etc. and it's really annoying. Knitting Question How Many Skeins?

How do I figure out how many skeins to buy if the yarn says 330yards for 1skein. 8 stitches = 1". I want to knit a blanket that's 80"x90" in stockinette stitch.

I broke someones nose, jaw, and knee in a fight?

I hit them with a brick in the jaw, then punched them in the nose about 10 times and put a knee bar on them. They have a pretty nasty gash (20 stitches or so) on their jaw and i would like to know how much jail time i could be facing?

Should i keep playing volleyball after knee surgery? Is it worth risking?

I don't think it's worth risking. I had an inflamed patella (which isn't as bad as a surgery), but i was still in discomfort and pain. I took at least four months or more off from volleyball and any other physical activity. But to stay in shape, i walked the beach, to build up muscle around the knee, that way it would be a shorter resting period and you can go back volleyball sooner. But i say take a break. It will help. an exercise that helped me was to lay down, with my legs straight out turn one leg outward, and lift it up and bring it down (don't let it drop, fight the gravity) do this for a set of at least 12. It strengthens the inner thighs. You could also use a bicycle machine and do that on low impact for a few minutes. If it hurts, then subtract time/reps for these exercises. These are only some of the exercises that i was shown, during physical therapy. if you need more , just let me know. :) Hope this helped. And also , you can easily get back on volleyball in college :) once you know how , you will never forget :) P.s. I'm 15, so i know how you feel haha :D

Do I have OCD and is there something wrong with me?

I have been thinking that i have had OCD for quite a while. For a few years now I have noticed some symptoms that may be associated with OCD. In particular in the last year I received a mac book from my school. On the mac book when pressing the command key and the space bar it opens a quick spotlight option. Once I found out I could do this without affecting what I was working on I started tapping it, obsessively. I tapped the space bar while holding both command keys next to it. When I was typing in school or at home I would tap it after finishing a sentence or paragraph. It just became this thing that I did. I really don't know how to describe it, it sounds silly when typing this. This didn't hinder my work in anyway but it made a loud noise that nobody mentioned at home, I pressed the space bar hard and tapped it many many times trying to make it feel right but it never really did. This was accompanied by pressing hard and swiping my hand across the clicker looking for the same feeling. I also would type, delete, and re-type letters, especially 'e' and I think 'c', I think the girl who sat next to me in computer class noticed after I did it about 10 times. I would also highlight and re-highlight the words on a web page (in the past sentence I just typed, deleted and re-typed the letter 'd' and 'c'). I would also tap other key combinations such as the command+tab shortcut which switches applications. I noticed that my symptoms were directly related with how emotional I was or how much stress I am under. Since the summer started I haven't shown many of the symptoms mentioned above, partly because of the stress-free environment of summer and mostly (I think) because I don't have the mac book any more. This was all in the past year (my first year of high-school). Before this I would visualize lining up telephone poles that I saw through the windows of our car and in restaurants. My mother noticed that I would move around in my seat lining things up outside from my perspective. I also played a game in the car where I would line up the tops of the telephone poles (with the antenna-like tops with the wires) with the blue visor at the top of our windshield (this is hard to explain also). I've always suspected this was a game though. I don't do either of these things anymore. Nowadays I will roam around the house tapping the walls and tabletops and assorted bed stands that I walk by. Sometimes I with tap the first digits of my fingers (on the inside) with some force on the top of a table or a wall. When I get medicine out of the medicine cabinet I will repeatedly touch the door and close it because it doesn't close all the way and this bothers me. I also collect useless junk. I have pieces of paper and lint that I don't want to throw away for some reason. I just collect this stuff. When the top cloth layer of the inside sole of my right shoe came out my mother wanted to throw it away but I insisted that I keep it. This also includes the clippings of my jeans that were tearing off at the bottom. Luckily I have thrown both of these pathetic items away. During the summer after 8th grade I decided to go through and throw out all of my papers from that year. Most kids say they are ready to burn their binders but I wanted to horde mine and all of the papers inside. I wanted to keep all of those papers with my A+'s on them. I thought that one day I would need them to show to someone how smart I am. I ended up throwing them away. We kept them in a brown bag that was ready to be thrown out. My mother said she would throw them away in the morning. I had a mini-panic attack that evening and I think I convinced my mother to keep them for a month or two. They're gone now. I don't know if the rest of this is related or not but here it goes; When making a decision I can usually say yes or no. But like this one time my sister and her two friends were going out with my mother and they asked me whether I wanted to come along. I initially refused but then I sat in my chair for a bit while they went out to the car. I racked my brain trying to make a decision whether I wanted to go or not. I was and still am convinced that I need to be impulsive and take those seemingly minor decisions like going with my sister and her friends. I grabbed my shoes and socks and ran out the door before they left with a quick, "I'm going too!" to my dad. I ran to the car barefoot as they were about to pull away. I was convinced I would meet someone and I would have a "book moment" (I hope you know what I mean). This also happened today when deciding whether to go walking with my dad, I also walked in complete silence with him, wondering whether I should talk about how I handled him wanted to show how to use a gun and being a "wimp" a few years ago. Help, terrible chest pain while running?

I'm training with my high school for cross country over the summer. Ever since I've started running, there has been a terrible chest pain 2 1/2-3 inches from the bottom of my rib cage, kind of near the heart. My doctor thinks it is a side sitch, but it is far too high for that because if I ever get a side stitch, it is near the bottom of my rib cage, and side stitches are like cramps, and this feels like something really heavy is sitting on my lungs, not allowing me to get the maximum oxygen I need. It feels like something is getting blocked off in my lungs when I breathe.

Self mutilation- I need help.?

Hi. I've been cutting on and off for about a year and a half. I have anxiety, and I also have symptoms of depression and bipolar disorder (and family history to match-- Yippee.) I've been seeing a therapist. And I've been trying my hardest to get over this. I've tryed talking to people I trust. I've tryed writing, and music and art and reading and watching movies and spending time with people. I've tryed the rubber band thing. And the ice thing. And the soap thing. I've tryed talking to people with the same problem. I have a box full of motivational stuff and a list of things I could do instead. I have quotes about "staying strong" and "loving yourself" all over my walls. I've tryed just about everything under the sun that I could find. And I still can't let this go- Every time I think I'm better it comes back. This is a last stitch effort here. I have no where to turn. What should I do? Please help.
