Why is it that when Republicans exercise freedom of speech?

some Liberals just call it racism? Take the big Juan Williams thing and NPR. Juan Williams is conservative and NPR is Liberal, and when Juan Williams made that comment about Muslims in Muslim garb on airplanes, the NPR just ended his contract because they thought he was bigoted. He was just saying his opinion. Why are some Liberals like this towards freedom of speech?
