Punch biopsy scarring?

I had a punch biopsy on side of neck to removed pea size cyst. I have had the stitches out for over a month. There is a significant sunken spot where the punch biopsy was taken and two dog ears on either end of the stitches scar. Is this typical for a month of healing? Will the sunken area fill in? Will the dog ears flatten? I am so worried because it looks really terrible when I turn my neck, as there is a big gap where tissue should be. Thanks
