Do you think the Seattle Superheros are stupid or heroic?

In case you haven't heard there's a group of men garbed in superhero costumes who patrol the streets of Seattle to try and stop crimes in the community. The ringleader "Phoenix Jones" has suffered a stab wound and broken nose so far. Do you think these men are stupid for doing this or are their efforts heroic?
