....didnt quite understand your question but imo the only reason male artists dressed and acted more flamboyantly feminine was for the shock value...its a tried and true method of getting your name remembered in the pop music industry....madonna as slut...david bowie as androgynous gay....rob zombie as crazy killer...marilyn manson as female something or other.....not some great trend in male sexuality and more to do with getting your self noticed in a very tough business to break into.
